The Cooler master Note pal U2 (fan Edition) is a 14 inch angled aluminum laptop cooling pad that can cool your laptop computer from 14 to 17 inches. It comes with two 80 x 80 x 10 mm fans that can be positioned anywhere on the cooling pad to optimally cool any laptop. You can also have the fans taken off and keep it extra protected while in your laptop bag or backpack.
I am testing out this cooling pad on a Toshiba Satellite P305-S8822 laptop and it’s a 17 inches. Running Windows 7 at idle, the CPU runs at around 57 Degrees Celsius, the GPU runs at around 44 Degrees Celsius, and the chipset runs at 34 Degrees Celsius. Now with the fans positioned for the laptop and running windows 7 at idle, the CPU temperature is around 47 degrees Celsius, the GPU runs around 41 Degrees Celsius, and the chipset runs at 30 Degrees Celsius.
As you can see there is a pretty big difference in the temperature between having the cooling pad and not having it on. I think the biggest advantage is that you can have the laptop at an angle to keep from your legs or carpets. They overheat easily if they are just on your lap or on a surface that keeps in the heat. One of the biggest problems with laptops is that they overheat from what they are placed on with. However, with this cooling pad you can keep your laptop running at cool and also you can have extra protection for your laptop by placing the Cooler Master Note pal U2 in your laptop bag or backpack.
