GIGABYTE TECHNOLGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, today announced the GIGABYTE Spring Extreme Contest, its latest overclocking competition that will be hosted on HWBOT.org.

The ‘Spring Extreme Contest’ will run from February 15th to March 15th 2012. The winner will take home a GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD7 motherboard, with second and third places taking a 990FXA-UD5, and 990FXA-UD3 respectively. This contest is open to all HWBOT members. In the event of a tied score, the highest PC Mark 05 score will determine the contest winner.
