Everyone needs a solid PSU inside their system if they want to have a stable and long running one, as it’s the heartbeat of your system. It really can get confusing also when trying to figure out what you actually need and what you want. My rule of thumb for a PSU is more power is always better than not enough because it’s a lot easier to pay a little more now than have to remove it and or replace it later if it suffers from PSU inadequacy. Most non SLI based system can always get away with using a 600W PSU, but if you are going to be pushing more than a single card you want a PSU that can handle it and that requires a bit more power.

The New CoolerMaster Silent Pro Platinum is a semi modular PSU that offers 1000W of continuous power and modular cables that modders either love or hate making that aspect a matter of personal preference. Today we unbox and see what the PSU looks like, how the cable are as well as what connections are available. The Silent Pro Platinum has a 5-year warranty and is 80 Plus Platinum certified, which means the PSU has the highest quality and maintains a solid power curve thru-out normal usage.  The Silent Pro Platinum is currently available online and at other retail vendors and is on of the latest products from the folks over at CoolerMaster. Next up a system build.
