Lian Li Unleashes the PC-D8000

Lian-Li Industrial has released today the massive brushed aluminum HPTX supported chassis – PC-D8000. This case is able to hold up to twenty 3.5” hard drives, two power supplies, and almost every motherboard form factor. The PC-D8000 from Lian-Li has the space to fill all the desires of any hardware enthusiast. And with this many hard drive bays its great for making a home office server to keep all your files. This case is simply massive, measuring in at 405mm x 628mm x 572mm (15.9” x 24.7” x 22.5”). It also comes with four wheels on the bottom of the case when you need to move the case from place to place.

The front panel of the PC-D800 comes off very easily giving you full access to all twenty 3.5” hard drive bays which can be easily secured or removed by thumbscrews and rubber suspensions. There is also a key lock for the HDD cage to prevent unwanted removal of the hard drives. The motherboard tray is huge as well, supporting HPTX, EATX, ATX, and Micro-ATX motherboards. It can also be removable so that PC builders can feel free building their system without any hassle. There are also large cutouts and rubber grommets all over the case for neat cable management. Up to six 140mm fans can be supported behind the front panel and at the rear of the chassis is one 120mm fan with space for three more 140mm fans. The Lian Li PC-D8000 will be available for the suggested retail price of US$349.
