PowerColor Announces Devil13 HD 7990 Dual GPU 6GB Video Card

It looks like even though AMD may be trying to hold the leashes on the rumored 7990 PowerColor has decided to Damn The Torpedoes and release one anyways, which takes guts as it’s a risky venture. This one is aptly named the Devil13 and with its 3 fans it looks wicked indeed. Many times when we see a Dual GPU card it has been watered down in one fashion or another, but the new Devil13 is actually 2 complete 7970 GPUs on a single piece of silicon making it a serious contender in the high-end gaming arena.

Clocked at 925MHz in standard mode the card can also be overclocked to 1000Mhz by the boost switch. Pricing as such is not available yet, but we will keep you up to date as the card goes into production and finally onto the shelf at your favorite E or retail vendor. I expect the card to be priced at around $1000.00 US and to be a very rare item that will be in very limited quantities.
