For many people the PSU is almost the most important aspect of your building buy as it is the power that runs it. There has been a long going debate between Semi-and Fully-Modular PSU designs and usually a Semi-Modular is the winner, but Corsair has taken the lead with their newly designed Fully-modular AX1200I. This is the first Fully-Modular PSU I have seen that will break down the walls of the old attitudes and breath fresh air to the market. Everything about this new product screams out look at me look at me and just from a quick visual observation you can see why as it looks really clean and has a red/black color scheme that is very popular with custom builders, and that is just the looks. This is one of Corsairs new professional line of products and is geared for those who want the best in performance without sacrifice.

Under the hood you will find that the new Corsair AX1200i is built like a new age tank with high quality parts and built under strict guidelines to ensure a stable and long lasting product. The really big news though is the totally individually sleeved cables that allow a completely controlled install without the need to hide any unused cables a must for any Modder worth his salt. Corsair also introduces their all-new Corsair Link that offers exciting new capabilities in system monitoring and control. Select Corsair products can be linked together for monitoring, with an amazing level of control. Everything is available on your screen with a software interface that’s advanced, intuitive, and easy to use. The AX1200i offers 1200W of uninterrupted power and has enough connections for up to a Quad SLI or CrossFire configuration. Coming to market at around $350.00 it’s a bit pricey, but if you want stability and options this is one serious piece of hardware.
