With the mobile phone market being as competitive as ever, much pressure rests on the shoulders of phone makers to craft a phone that aims to out spec and out shine the competitors before it. Since the spec release of Samsung’s new flagship phone, the Galaxy S4, many consumers have mixed emotions on justifying an upgrade from their perfectly functional Galaxy S3 to the latter S4. With minor aesthetic changes and perjured statements of an 8-core processor, the S4 turns into a tough sell for Samsung.

Recently, Geekbench, a speed ranking system tested the S4 and came up with some comparisons on performance with other phones currently on the market. Unsurprisingly, the not yet released Galaxy S4 which is rocking a Quad-core 1.9GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon 600 + 2GB of RAM came on top and actually doubled the score of the iPhone 5. The S4 out performs at an even greater margin if you choose to go with the non-LTE model which uses an Octacore Samsung Exynos Chip.
Does seeing the S4 double the iPhone 5 change your mind on Samsung entirely or do you think it still isn’t enough to get people to make the switch from their trusty iOS devices? Tell us what your thoughts are with a comment down below!
