I think the big concern here with people, is how indiscreetly you can record and take photos of people, unlike a cellphone where its pretty damn obvious if someone is doing any of the latter. Honestly, i think its pretty ridiculous and that McDonalds, as evil and nasty an establishment they are, are justified if they decide to go through with a ban in their policy. i for one, would not even talk to someone face to face if they were wearing a set. id tell em to take em off and talk to me like people used to only just 10 years ago. but maybe that’s just me.

I would like to point out that the “Google Glass” sticker is a different tint then the credit card sticker. Meaning that it is placed on the outside of the door. If this was a legitimate sticker wouldn’t it be posted on the inside of the business?

I personally am withholding judgement of this until the company releases an official statement on the matter.

I can see the use in a doctors office or even a Mc D’s for work but for casual use it’s more like an Apple product, it’s a social status like, “look I have money”, but I can understand having it for professional use, casual use would just look silly kinda like walking around with a glass microphone over your eye. I am not downing it, I just don’t think it will do as good as a smart phone. Maybe if they made it a telescopic ear piece to eye instead of a pair of glasses it wouldn’t look as silly wearing them all the time , you could just pull it out the ear piece and put it over your eye when you need to use it. plus it could cause eye problems… maybe
