why do you need that much on such a small screen
It will even degrade the web experience on device (smaller text)
And what about availability of video content at this resolution?
I guess 1080p is more than enough

Can we get cheaper 2560×1440 screens instead? Or maybe screens beyond the 2560 range?

Their is no point, the screen is to small to worry about that resolution, think if the PPI on phones compared to a 40inch tv for example.

1080p is nice. how about we get 2560×1440 down to that size?
