For some, the idea of having an 8-inch Tablet like the Samsung flavored Galaxy Tablet was a great idea, but not the one size fits all solution for the masses. For those quite possibly, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, which boasts 7-inch screen may fit your style and be the correct fit for you.

It is now confirmed and the rumor has now turned official that the company’s 3rd iteration of its tablet and the 1st to use the Android technology will hit the shelves with a Dual-Core 1.2GHz processor, 8 or 16GB of internal storage (Expandable to 64GB) a 3 and 1.3 megapixel camera array and a long lasting 4,000 MaH battery.

The 7-inch WSVGA (1024X600) screen display suggests that the unit will be priced very competitively, but Samsung has yet to release an official price as of yet. The Galaxy Tab 3 will come loaded with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and their WiFi version will launch around the globe in May and will be followed up with a 3G model (No LTE Yet Folks, but it will be able to make calls) should be released somewhere in June.

I remember when I was thrilled just to be able to read my books on my Kindle device and in such a short time span technology has leaped and bounded to the point where there is almost no difference between your phone or you tablet and soon the lines will be blurred to the point of the 2 merging into some new named device. I like the name MCU, Multimedia Communications Unit, but that will probably not make the naming list.
