G.Skill TridentX RAM Overclocked to 4400MHz (World Record)
The folks over at G.Skill are once again celebrating another crowing...
On June 20th Samsung will release their new line of Galaxy devices but the people from SamMobile brought the surprises a little early this year.
SamMobile has released a leaked image of what looks like a Samsung Galaxy S4 with a dedicated camera body. Some news outlets are calling this the S4 Zoom it seems to function as both a dedicated camera and also a dedicated, full-fledge, Android smartphone.
According to SamMobile it will feature a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3 inch qHD display, and 8GB of internal storage and a 16-megapixel camera with optical zoom, hence the name. The phone/camera is also reported to be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean.
The photos shown in the article are from TechTastic and by looking at the photos the phone seems to look really solid. As I’ve been ranting on about for the past few months that the importance of having a great camera presence in almost all the technology we handle now-a-days is turning into a social necessity.
I would not be surprised if Samsung turns this kind of technology into a whole other market for its company. With the somewhat failure of its Galaxy Camera, they might have gotten their stuff together an actually created something people would actually use and doesn’t carry the outrageous price. With the possibility of this device having LTE capability and also carrying a small price tag, I can see this camera flying off the shelves when it’s released.
In my opinion, a device like this would have a great purpose in replacing and totally exterminating the point and shot market entirely. That marker has been around way too long and is overdue for a revamp. This device has yet to have a release date or price point but we will possibly see more of this device on the 20th. We’ll just have to wait and see. Are you guys interested in this device? Do you think it could squeeze its way into your camera setup if the price was right? What do you guys think, let us know with a comment!
