Tokyo Man Lines Up 10 Days Early for iPhone 5s Launch

Apple is set to launch two new iPhone models this coming week and while the lower cost iPhone 5c was available for pre-order, for those wanting to pickup a shiny new iPhone 5s, they’ll have to get in line come September 20th.

We generally see customers lining up the night before or maybe even a few days before but a Tokyo man has captured his place in line at the Apple store a ridiculous 10 days early.

The super Apple fan came prepared as well with his chair, snacks and of course, a Red Bull. We know most of our audience wouldn’t stand in line for an iPhone, but let us know what product you would actually wait for and if so, how many days? I’d do It for a limited edition GTX 790 @ $500, if I had the cash and 10 vacation days. I can see doing it for a console or a Mac, but not an IPhone that shows very small improvements and just a few more features from the last iterations. Phones & tablets come out as frequent as pizza delivery drivers. Although some folks lives revolve around these doohickeys. kinda like upgrading from a 3770k to a 4770k i really see no point. Now if it was google glass, then I could totally see.
