The average consumer doesn't even know what RAM is and they don't care, they just want to check there Facebook and view pictures. Would you please kindly go fuck yourselves and stop stealing peoples money. Sincerely, Erick This message is for Apple, Your only good at making your products look fashionable. Mac has the most overpriced hardware ever! The near future is hybrid, conventional hard drives and SSDs working together like one same device until SSDs manufacturing becomes cheaper. A 256 would be more than enough to load your OS and apps on. You are better off buying your macpro with the smalled ram and hard drive options available that you can (while maintaining your desired processor options) and got and buy your ram from kingston and hard drives from your favourite hard drive vendor. You will save thousands. The only current SSD you can put in a mac pro is 512k, which is already completely overpriced. A 256 would be more than enough to load your OS and apps on. Sure custom pc's are better but if your a noob or not technical then the mac is best option for someone who just wants it ordered without any conversation.
