for that price IMO you are better of with saving up and investing on some glass..you can get a 500D or a 550D used for very cheap if you really need a backup
but still i will be very interested if the price drops. i would love to use it for street photography

I would buy one but, for the same reasons you pointed out in the article – the price and it’s position against other Canon DSLR’s – i’m not even considering. I prefer the T4i.
