G.Skill TridentX RAM Overclocked to 4400MHz (World Record)
The folks over at G.Skill are once again celebrating another crowing...
For those who are big camera buffs, Nikon comes breaking the door down with their latest CoolPix-A digital camera which is essentially their first advanced compact camera. The CoolPix-A has an amazing 16.2-megapixel DX-format sensor, now this is the same size that Nikon uses in their high-end DSLRs instead of the 1’’ CX-format used in the 1’’ mirrorless cameras. The sensor has now been paired up with a fixed 18.5mm (28mm equivalent) f2.8 prime lens that Nikon promises users will offer excellent sharpness and the blurred background seen on much more expensive lenses.
Although the sensor is not as large as the one found in Sony’s RX1, it still beats out Sony’s RX100 and is very compatible to the Fujifilm X100s. Although the price of the new A is a little steep, coming in this month at $1099.95, it will have features above and beyond most of its peers can even come close to. There will also be an optical viewfinder for the CoolPix-A that will be selling for $449.96 for those that would want that accessory. Personally being a guy who loves different cameras this is pretty exciting stuff as the more they improve the more the cost come down for the buyer as the technology matures. What do you think about the new A, is it something you would be interested in seeing reviewed?
