This is What the iPad 5 Will Look Like Next to the iPad 4

We still have another month or two before Apple unveils it’s next generation iPad and iPad mini, but Jonathan over at TLD decided to take a couple leaked next gen iPad parts, rip part a 4th generation iPad and sandwich them together to give us a solid look at how the two will look side by side.

The video shows us that Apple’s next iPad will sport a much sleeker look, thinner look, much like the iPad Mini. We see an addition of stereo speakers, separated volume rockers and most noticeably a much thinner bezel.

Jonathan also notes that with the form factor change that it’ll be interesting to see how Apple approaches battery life on this next iPad because as of now, the battery from the 4th gen iPad takes up most, if not all the space inside the 5th gen iPad housing. Apple should also implementing the rumored A7x chip to improve performance as well.

So what are  your thoughts on Apple’s upcoming 5th gen iPad? If these leaks pan out to be true, I think the design change will accepted with open arms by Apple fans.
