Shadows and Object) with FXAA , 8XAF, VH Textures on a 1920×1080 Screen with a GTX 660 OC to 1110 and very rarely go below 45FPS in the first level, and 50FPS in every other level.

As for the Xbox Bit. I believe Microsoft was going to name the Xbox the “DirectX Box” before the launch of original Xbox. Hence Miguel Borja’s point.

And yes, The Xbox 360 does support DX9.0C

Wrong… Where Do you believe the “XBox” name come from?

“MAX settings on 2560x1440p vs 1080p has no difference except for a bigger image resolution.”

It depends, generally there is a bit performance hit as a result of a sharper image. More if MSAA antialiasing is applied.

Obviusly PC ALWAYS will look better than consoles. That’s one of the reasons why next gen consoles will be like computers.

What your saying isn’t practical by any means; As long as my game looks and feels and sounds better than a CONSOLE i’m hands on deck. Crysis 3 on Low settings is still far superior to current gen Consoles. I mean the PS3/360 doesnt even have DX9 support.

Not to mention the resolution just depends on how big of a monitor you have so literally that doesn’t even apply. MAX settings on 2560x1440p vs 1080p has no difference except for a bigger image resolution. that does not mean better visual effects; it may be more appealing as the picture is enlarged just like watching TV is more practical then watching TV on a phone.

Bring it down to 1920×1080, lower the aliasing and filtering, and you could easily run it on the majority of gaming computers. Even an AMD A10 (budget gaming chip) can handle it.
