Intel fanboys, everywhere…. Let’s match this up against the i5 without any dedicated GPU. Plus it’s 100 dollars less. It’ll shit on an i5 in 3D.

I am gonna disagree on a lot of what people are saying here. I have in my home an A10 5800K at stock speeds and it is used with an 6950 for video. It plays Skryim, Borderlands 2, Bioshock, Devil May Cry, Neverwinter and more, all at 1080 and high detail. Not a single game lags or stutters, they look awesome and play smooth.
The APU is a decent chip and more than powerful enough for 95% of computer users out there.

This is a casual POS processor. If you want proper gaming CPU Intel’s i5 is your go-to processor. This crap does not threaten Intel AT ALL

well i have an AMD Phenom X4 959 and actualy somehow my CPU eats Intel i7 that my friend have any way I went for AMD beocuse I had low budget and need max performance this is what I get

I think at these price points AMD is just competing with themselves. Maybe even hurting themselves in some instances.

Well even though AMD has lots of ground in the entry-level market, the APU’s dont have enough power to match the i5′s and i7′s. To compete with them, they’ll need to release the AM3+ steamroller FX chips to compete properly in the high-end performance market. Well, also havn’t heard anything about Centurion which is AMD’s shot at the enthusiast market.
