First Look: ASUS ROG Ares II Dual 7970 6GB Video Card!

Asus is releasing their new ROG ARES II video card which features two AMD Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition GPUs. They claim its the fatest graphics card available and it outperforms the GeForce GTX 690 reference card by 13 percent and is 31C cooler. It comes with 6GB of video memory, 1,100MHz boost clock, 1,050 base clock, and 2 x 384-bit memory interface. Also comes with a 20-phase Super Alloy Power VRM with top-grade components, three 8-pin power connectors, and Asus’ excellent GPU Tweak round out the ARES II’s feature set. There are no details on a release date or price for now but it should be a great graphics card for any system regardless. We were lucky enough to get a close up look at CES 2013 and this card is an absolute beast. Check out the video below and check out the dual 7970 monster for yourself!
