Elric & Linus Collide! (WAN Show Archive)

What’s up Techfans! As many of you probably saw, Elric did a guest spot on Linus Tech Tips a few days ago, and if you missed it theres a link to the archived version of it here.

In this episode Linus covered numerous subjects including the upcoming warcraft movie, Half-life 3’s possible confirmation, Steam machine prototype specs, the future of console gaming, and many many more. For Elric’s guest segment they got to talk about AMD’s Radeon 290x, as well as Nvidia’s current business strategy.

Unfortunately the show ended up being the victim of a DDOS attack midway through, so Elric’s part was cut short at about 30 minutes, but theres some good information from their talk while it lasted, so make sure to check it out!

Elric wasn’t DDOS’d, I think it was Elric’s prank. Linus made a fool of him and made it look as if he was a beginner.

    Well, honestly Elric is pretty new in technology journalism but he’s doing awesome. On the other hand, Linus is a little snot which I horribly hate because he’s the living proof any little snot of an idiot can make a living by doing tech journalism which is something that’s not true. Don’t get me wrong, am not fanboying Elric here but he just offers better, shorter and more in-depth information. Linus is for people who don’t have a clue about technology. My favorite video reviewer is definitely Tiny Tim Logan but Elric hold the second place as far as am concerned. Good video reviews have to be short, hold a lot of useful information about different products and how they stack up against each other. On the other hand there are text reviewers that offer even more information, one of the best is probably Anand tech, their site is great.
