Last week the folks over at EVGA announced a new product to flesh out their inventory of gaming products, but wait this time its not a video card, it’s a mini-ITX case called the Hadron.

With a footprint of 305mm by 169mm the Hadron still has enough room inside to fit large sized VGA cards and a dual radiator on the top as well. You get a window for viewing all of your parts for those who like to mod, and there is also a 500w gold rated PSU all inside of this little package. The Hadron also looks really cool just sitting there empty and with the right bling it could look even better.

Systems that are this small can easily be taken to LAN parties or other events without the hassle or back breaking work that a standard PC user would incur and that is a key benefit to the Hadron, portability. Made of high quality steel parts the case has no sharp edges on the inside to cut your hands and has just enough room inside to maneuver your parts or change out a video card. The Hadron is made for mini-ITX motherboards and in recent months many companies have also jumped on that bandwagon so chances are good you can find a motherboard to suite your needs. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at what is available in the mimiITX form factor now.

The included 500w gold rated PSU is enough for a single high end VGA card as the motherboards do not require a mass amount of electricity to function and that seems to be the main topic of discussion between enthusiasts at this time. Do not fret my friends the PSU will be enough for you as long as you are not trying to run an SLI or CrossFire configuration. The only drawbacks that I foresee are possibly cable management and a slight lack of airflow, but beyond that the Hadron seems like it has its act together.  Its small, its elegant, it’s the Hadron by EVGA. We take the new Hadron and unbox it and take a closer look at its features and design. Check out the Unboxing on Tech Of Tomorrow’s YouTube channel where the magic happens. Tell us what you think, as your thoughts are always important to us. Have great day everyone!
