I suppose they will be pushing Thunderbolt mice? Thunderbolt keyboards? Thunderbolt hard drives? The first two have no bottleneck and the third is bottlenecked by the disk speed itself. Those are the three most used computerperipherals in the world, and they don't even need to move from USB2 yet. USB3 is going to win because there is almost nothing that would need the speed boost to function properly.
