Mad Catz is now shipping out their TRITTON Pro+ headset for PC and Mac, a headset that shares it’s name and design with one of their console designs, with one noticeable difference of having a direct analog plugin as opposed to using an amplifier/decoder box.

The headset features four Neodymium in each earcup, a pair of 30mm drivers in front and back, a 23 mm center driver, and a 40mm subwoofer.

It has a 12 ft length cable with an in-line controller, allowing for volume adjustment, speaker levels between the two headphones, and microphone controls that not only switch it on/off, but also allow for selectable voice monitoring that will feed the user’s voice back into the earphones so they can be aware of how loud they are.

Performance wise, the headset is said to have a frequency response of 25hz to 22hz and a total harmonic distortion of less than 1%. Hooking it up can involve up to 4 different audio inputs for microphone, center, bass, and left/right, and uses a USB hookup for power.
