hum… theirs just one or two things.
It’s great for teachers who don’t want there students surfing the net instead of learning.
If you buy the Gertboard.
It’s great for self contained projects like smart houses, lite switches heating,cooling,electric door controller for all your doors. lol you could even run your coffee pot with it.
you can add wifi.

It’s not what use would it have. It’s what can you dream up with this.
Now if you need heavy lifting there are other things out there that would be better. even overclocked to 1ghz it does have limits.

I plan on buying a Raspberry Pi Model B to use as my Bitcoin Mining-controller (it will control 3-4 Butterfly Labs ASICs) to save electricity. I highly recommend modders and builders of pretty much anything PC related to get a Raspberry Pi.

DAMM!!! this device is awesome it save lots of power while you download from bitcomet seriously plug out HDMI cable no DVDrom no hard disk no monitor and do plug out keyboard mouse cable and let the Ethernet cable be stick there(and power supply too) its a super power space saver

A good read. I never look out for grammar mistakes but the DYIs instead of DIY in the first sentence itself kinda threw me off. And I wish I could get my hands on one of these!
