GTX 770 SLI Review

Fresh off the release of NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 770 launch, which we reviewed earlier today, we’re back at it with the performance benchmarks of the GTX 770 in 2-way SLI. For this series of benchmarks we used both the ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II and the reference GTX 770 model from NVIDIA. Using the GPU Tweak software from ASUS, we set the cards to identical boost clock speeds of 1100 MHz and that was about it. We’ve compared the dynamic duo against a slew of the latest video card arsenal, including the NVIDIA GTX 780, GTX Titan and also the AMD HD 7990 dual-gpu monster.

So for $800, how does a pair of GTX 770s stack up in SLI? Kick back, relex and enjoy the video review after the break, or if you’re on a limited bandwidth connection, we also have the benchmark charts included for your convenience.

    nice price for the performance

Hey Brosef, there’s something visually weird with the Bioshock benchmark for the 7990. Even though the statistics are there the graph for it seems off.

    with gtx 680???????????

  • andrew

so the 2x SLI is the reference model but x2? or did you use a different module for SLI?

  • Josh Peet

sli is the way to go sometimes. More performance for for more power consumption and not all games scale well but if it was me I would sli 2 770′s and take a chance on some games not scaling well. good article. I love benchmarks.

SLI is sometimes good but there is some FPS(Frames per second) problems. But when you need it then go ahead!!

  • Shane Gannon

I think it’s better to pay more for the sli, it’s high performance and powerful, really good for gaming!! :)

I need a new heater for my room! I think a 760 would be quite nice. I get sod cold. Will the GTX 760 hold me at night?
