Good Afternoon Techfans! Today SteelSeries has announced the newest addition to their mouse line-up, the Rival Optical Gaming Mouse. Boasted amongst it’s main features is a right handed design with an anti-sweat coating, along with rubber grips and sides that will “deliver optimal texture, feel, and comfort”.

As with some of their other recent products, the Rival will offer an astounding number of colorful light customizations, numbering at 16.8 million different options. The rival will be able to hit a maximum CPI of 6500, and a lag time of 1ms allowing for instant communication between what your mouse does and what happens on screen.

SteelSeries is also boasting the mouses switch lifespan, coming in at 30 Million clicks, the largest ever offered in mouse. Through SteelSeries Engine 3, users will be able to customize not only the lighting of their mouse, but a number of finer control features including sensitivity controls, acceleration controls, and aim precision.

The SteelSeries Rival Optical Gaming Mouse is available for pre order today, with a current MSRP of $59.99, for more details make sure to check out the Rival’s product page on SteelSeries’s home website here.
