While it may seem that making video games a sport is stupid/funny, people fail to see the main reason behind this.
It is to allow professional gamers (people who actually make money and a living off of what they do (Game)) to enter global tournaments and have alot less hassle getting there, by allowing them the same “sporting visa” that other ‘athletes’ get.
Which is fair enough in my opinion, but It does sound funny acknowledging that video gaming is a sport xD
