As a gamer, I prefer PC. And my brother has a MacBook, but he faces a lot of compatibility issues with printer’s and stuff… Mac may be good, but definitely not for me…..

I’ll stick with Window’s regardless. It’s just my preference. I have used Mac many times, and I’ll admit, they are fast. I still just don’t care much for them.

I have always been a PC guy and will always be a PC guy, but at my new school we have macs now and we got macs as part of our curriculum. Now owning a mac and using it daily shows that I still like PC’s more because they are a lot more flexible and you can do whatever you want with them. Macs are not as stable as every body says and they work just about as fast as any other PC.
I don’t think macs are stupid and a piece of shit, but in my opinion they are just overpriced and most people don’t even know that they could get a better PC for the same price as a mac.
I believe that there are some pros for macs, for example for the use of photo, video editing and stuff like that, but for most other stuff a PC is better and more convenient.
I don’t want to say one side is better than the other, I just like PC more than macs and think that mac people are a kinda snobby. This is just my opinion!!

Well you are not quite right here. For all kinds of VIDEO and AUDIO editing on MAC is way better due to excellent hardware+software optimisation with zero loss in timings of audio.

The only single big minus in comparison with PC machines is price.
But if you are a public person to work with bigshot you are wearing a suite for 2k grands but not for 200 bucks. Same is here.

AMG Mercedes also cost like 50% or even Double the original model price. It doesnt mean that parts and work hours cost as much. Its the reputaion , quality and image you are getting for this price.

P.S.: btw i havent seen a SINGLE one laptop that is as compact and thin as macbook pro and had so much power in it. Not a sinle. 2cm thickness 2 kilos weight and power of something like G52SW (yea graphics on MBP are extremely well overclocked by stock to level of gtx660m)

OSX is superior to windows is just about every way man, unless you’re gaming. Try it out.
iOS sucks, but Apple has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. They replace your device almost without question, and the replacement is brand new, not a refurb. Thats one of the reasons why they cost so much.

Good article man, but can I suggest some revisions.
Not being snobby at all so don’t take it the wrong way, but you had some super long sentences without any use of commas, as well as some typos.
Again, not trying to rip on you, just a suggestion from a new reader.

But after using a PC my whole life (I’m 20), I decided to get a Mac. I am a geek, and a Computer Science major, and I find Mac a breath of fresh air. Everything just works, and is very smooth and fluid. I love it.

A big issue with mac users is there seems to be a big deal about the fact that they use macintosh computers. It’s the vocal (hopefully) minority that set a perception that is used to judge the entire macintosh ecosystem. E.g. Person on internet goes “I was just editing this video… on my mac”. Boom, there you go, “on my mac”. Suddenly you dislike that person.

But if a windows user says a similar thing, they go “I was just editing this video.” that’s it.

Yes, there is always the situation where these two things are reversed, but it’s all about perception. THINK ABOUT GREEN CARS. Now you will notice more green cars.

Another issue is that PC(windows pc) people don’t understand why Macs are so great, and especially don’t understand why Macs are so great for creative things. Their hardware is not as good, the default mouse is crap and the tools being used are for the most part, the same as what you get on windows, so what’s the real advantage?

I’m currently doing a course for interactive digital media (sound design, 3d modelling, 2d animating and cinematography). They’re using macs, which means I have to use Macs too. It’s the most I’ve ever used one. I still don’t get what’s so great about them.

My point is, I think the reason we don’t like Macs and more importantly, the reason I think we don’t like Mac users, is that we don’t understand why they’re so happy to be using a Mac. They won’t explain in a way that makes sense so we just say “you’re stupid, I now don’t like you”.(or more extreme, “I now hate you”).
