EVGA X79 Dark Motherboard Unboxing & First Look!
We're back with an exciting unboxing and first look at the...
Back in March when Bioshock Infinite first came out, players had the option to buy a season pass that promised future DLC, along with a few minor bonus items right away to help justify the early purchase, and for quite some time little to no info was surfacing regarding these pieces of DLC leaving many hoping and waiting to receive word on some kind of content to make their investment worthwhile.
Today we finally got that announcement, with a trailer a new piece of DLC entitled “Burial at Sea”, whose connection to the story of Bioshock Infinite is currently questionable, but does once again feature the pair of the game’s protagonist, Booker DeWitt, and the lead female Elizabeth. The reason for a confusion in connection? The game takes place in rapture, before the events of the original bioshock, with Booker and a noticeably older Elizabeth working together in a very Film Noir style with him taking on the role of the grizzled detective, and Elizabeth as the dame offering a job.
Booker is shown clearly using the more controllable plasmid powers of the original Bioshock, lighting a cigarette for Elizabeth, and Rapture is clearly in fully working condition, though the plot of the DLC will cover it’s fall as popularly known by series fans. Whether or not this ties directly to the plot of Infinite, or whether it’s just a fun side story for fans is yet to be seen, but it will certainly be one of the most interesting things to see if it actually connects and somehow furthers the story and interpretational ending of Infinite.
