Can Apple’s GTX 680MX Equipped iMac Handle Far Cry 3?

We previously brought you a performance review of Apple’s late 2012 iMac spec’d out with an Intel Core i7 3.4GHz CPU and NVIDIA’s GTX 680MX 2GB Video Card, but this time wanted to really put that card to it’s paces and see if it could handle Far Cry 3 on ‘Very High’ or even ‘Ultra’. We ran a series of benchmarks on both 1080P and 1440P and while we found that 2560 x 1440 on medium settings is the most optimal setting in that you get to max out the iMacs beautiful IPS display and still achieve over 50FPS, we think you’ll be presently surprised how it handled Ultra on 1080P.
