On the other hand it’s just another android gaming console, just this is handheld :)

Anyway, the only major ‘selling’ aspect of the NVIDIA Shield for me was the PC game streaming ability, as It was a quite interesting concept and worked surprisingly well, even through a wireless configuration. Let’s see what ASUS have to compete with that (that is if they have their sights to specifically compete against the NVIDIA Shield as this article infers)…

No one gives a crap. The Shield is already a niche product AND it has it’s name made. Also, if this doesn’t support game streaming, it has a negative percent chance of making an impact. If it’s just for simple android gaming, get a Nexus 7, 10x the functionality and a better screen, and if you’re really tight on money… why buy this?? It’s a waste of the slave work you’ve been doing. If the ASUS supports streaming from AMD or Nvidia cards, then that’s different. But if it’s even MORE limited than the Shield, then it’s market will be no one. Not even a rich kid. Because a rich kid can give a damn about a brand like ASUS and a product less capable and cheaper than SHIELD.
