I have a 720p 5.5″ screen and unless i cram the phone in my eye like an over sized monocle, i can’t see pixels at any reasonable real world distance. I also dont ‘feed’ 4 times the pixels that dont benefit me at all. long live the Note 2!

lol 720p is more than enough. these phones with large resolutions barely last. and the sheepy consumers get sucked into reviews and adverts.

No kidding. I see no positives to this whatsoever. But of course sheep will say it’s good and call 1080p 5-inch screens super pixelated.

they’ll have to invest in a bigger battery otherwise powering a big screen resolution will drain the battery in a second
