NVIDIA announces Titan Z: A $3,000 graphics computing powerhouse! Another day at the GTC brings even more news for PC enthusiasts and this time the news is from the NVIDIA camp. Like most folks I was solidly impressed with the Titan Black, but NVIDIA has decided to up the ante so to speak and has now announced a brand new Titan Z. It just seems like NVIDIA wants to try and dominate at all levels, entry to over the top, top of the line. This announcement came by way of CEO Jen-Hsun Huang at today’s GPU Technology Conference being held by NVIDIA. Titan Z is sounding impressive out of the gate.
So what do you get when you buy a video card that cost you 3K? The Titan Z will sport Dual-Kepler GPUs that were specifically designed to work with perfect harmony between power and performance. As far as the gaming side of things go the Titan Z is said to be able to keep cutting edge games like those using the Unreal engine 4 running with incredible frame rates at 5K resolutions and on multiple monitors as well. The Titan Z will be will be able to achieve this feat by 12GB of dedicated DDR5 memory. Others details will obviously make their way to light, but for now we know these are the base specs and the price is going to be set at 3K. For those looking to get over the top performance this is going to be the big daddy of VGA cards for the current time frame.
