Top 5 PC/Gaming Desk Setups v1 Finalists! (Poll)

We are back finally with the finalists of our Top 5 PC/Gaming Desk Setup contest we announced a few months back. Huge apologies for the delay, the nearly 500 entries combined with the holiday/CES craziness set us back but better late than never, right?

It was insanely hard to narrow this down to a list of 10 for you to vote on, we looked at every single submission so first off, thanks to EVERYONE who participated, you all rock. As you might have noticed by the title of this article, we’ve titled it v1 (version 1) because of how many submissions there were we had the idea to continue this and possibly do a v2 down the road. Let us know your thoughts on that idea.

Before we kick off the list we want to highlight this contest with an absolutely ridiculous setup from Mr. Jerry Berg AKA Barnacules Nerdgasm over on YouTube who’s submitted his monster of a setup which he’s dubbed The Bro Cave. To keep this contest fair, we aren’t going to allow this setup to be voted for since we don’t think any of our prizes would really benefit Jerry, sorry brother, but he will get a MASSIVE shout out and feature in our final video.

Jerry’s main machine is a hex-core i7-3930k on liquid at 4.7 GHz per core with 32gb DDR-2366 and twin 256GB SSD in Raid-0 with 4 720 WD Blacks in Raid 5 for content. It has duel 680 GTX FTW+ graphics cards in SLI and a ASUS Xonar STX sound card piped through a Mackie 802-VLZ3 into my Logitech Z-5500′s and Beyerdynamic MMX-300 headphones. The build is in a CaseLabs M10 case with extended top for twin 360 black ice radiators with an external reservoir on the front just to look different.

I liked Joshua’s the most. I felt like his had the most personality, and it really displayed who he was.

As cool Peter’s desk setup may be, i think Dominic’s one represents my ideal location and setup for a desktop; cozy, quiet, and nicely themed.

Also, Max, if you ever wake up and find all those guitars missing, i just borrowed them, just letting you know

Joshua Hobbs i like it very much , your setup its what i whould use if i had the money , i am not a great modder and with not a huge budget. I like everything posters , 3 monitors setup , stealth black case and the toys etc …

I think the L3P d3sk build is sick but i feel that he doesn’t fit in the competition if Bernacules isn’t in it. I went with Dominic, because it’s clean and he has a coca-cola poster.

I love this, but i think it is a bit unfair because it is really just a competition of who got the most money, and the winner probably don’t need that ssd or giftcard, but the other people might do. not trying to hate, its just what i think.
