iPad 5 to be 15% Thinner & Take After iPad Mini Design?

Reliable sources from past speculations have come out with their own information about Apple’s next generation iPad 5. The tablet is said to be launched this coming fall and it will be 25% lighter and 15% thinner than this years current model.

This information is in supporting territory with the new redesign rumor of the iPad 5 which takes the same structure as the iPad Mini.

MacRumors have a note from the analysts who brought them the information saying that “We think the tablet will, at 7.5-8.0mm, be 15% thinner than the iPad 4.

The new device will likely be about 500 grams, or some 25%lighter than iPad, run on an A7X processor, and sport cameras with similar specs to the iPad 4’s(front HD, rear 5MP). The casing shape and color (silver and black) and narrow bezel design will be similar to the iPad mini’s.”

This is a great to hear because, we at Tech Of Tomorrow, love the iPad Mini bezel and it’s just an overall beautiful design change over the traditional full sized iPad Mini bezel. Also, no one can complain about the iPad 5 being thinner and lighter am I right?! We should expect to see this new iPad begin shipping around August or September of this year!
