Is This Apple’s Upcoming Gold iPhone 5S?

When I heard initial rumors of a gold iPhone 5S in the works, I thought “No way in hell would that happen.”

It appears however, over the past week especially, that the gold iPhone 5S rumors have increased more than ever and this time we have what looks to be some legitimate looking leaked shots of said gold iPhone.

To be fair, I think most tech blogs and news sites are “milking” this rumor with over-the-top gold mockups that are louder and more far fetched than what the actual gold iPhone will look like. From the pictures below it looks more like a “champagne” color and that combined with white edges, actually wouldn’t look that bad.

The gold iPhone 5S is also rumored to come exclusively in a 128GB option which will definitely match the gold color with a gold price tag but I will say if there were any crowd that would eat this up, it’s an Apple crowd.
