Intel HD-4600 Graphics Performance
As far as using Intel’s latest HD-4600 in comparison to its predecessor the HD-4000 we do see quite significant gains in performance especially at resolutions of 1920X1080 where the HD-400 faired poorly or could not really run at all. We ran a few games to compare the older gen and next gen or “now gen” to see which was faster, and the HD-4600 is a much faster solution showing drastic improvements over the HD-4000. However, any gamer worth his salt is not going to be even considering using the onboard solution so for the desktop this is all well and good, but almost a moot point.
