This is the Galaxy S5…It Comes in Gold and it’s Not Pretty

We’re only hours away from the official unveiling of Samsung’s next flagship smartphone but it looks like the Galaxy S5′s backside has already been leaked. In gold…and it’s not very attractive.

This is an obvious answer to Apple’s gold iPhone 5s, but regardless of preference of Android over Apple, I don’t think anyone can say that this actually looks good. The bigger disappointment aside from the color is that rumors off an all metal constructed Galaxy S5 didn’t come true and we are yet again stuck with plastic. We’ll cross our fingers that somehow this is a mistake and update you with the official announcement but for now what do you guys think?

*Update* Even more images of the GS5 have leaked. Starting to look pretty legitimate and not fake. Damn.

As a colour looks bad, but as the cover texture is good. I am really disappointed that I waited another year hoping there will be a metal s5.

I think it looks fine. Looks dont make a difference in performance and this is also why they make phone cases. I dont buy phones for a fashion statement. If there was a pink phone that performed better than a black phone id get the pink phone and put a case on it. I hope this is actually true because people will still eat this up like candy.

  No. Looks aren’t more important than specifications unless you’re a 16 year old girl who thinks Apple is the best. You’re telling me you’d rather have a phone that looks cool so you can impress your friends that has a 1200mah battery and a single core processor that will die in a few hours? Mmk. Go away please. Don’t comment on tech sites if you think looks are more important that specs.

You guys expected Samsung to make an all-metal phone? Come on, Samsung doesn’t have much reason to do an all-metal phone, nope, none at all.

And before you come with the argument that they should do one because of the HTC One, I’m sorry to dissapoint you, but it IS because of the HTC One that they WON’T do it. Perhaps if the One had taken a significant amount of sales from the S4 they would do a metal phone, but it didn’t, so, they won’t do it.

Ew. The exact same, but worse looking phone. Probably 90% of the features are gimmicks, 90% of the power isn’t used because it’s unoptimized like always, and all anyone cares about is specs and a 4K cam that they can use wonderfully on their 1080p monitors.

who cares how does it look like, in the end you can change covers as you wish but if its same crappy plastic shit, then thx ill pass, had terrible experience before with that shitty plastic construction and switched to Sony metal construction.
