This past Tuesday saw the release of Titanfall, one of the most talked about FPS games to come out this year. We unboxed the Collector’s edition for PC but it looks like Mac users may be in for a surprise.
Currently it’s limited entirely to microsoft related platforms, namely the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, but there’s been talk in the past of the game being ported over to other systems as well, including the PS4 back when it was first shown at E3. Well it looks like even more ports than just that are in the works, as Respawn Entertainment’s head Vince Zampella has tweeted out that they are in talks with Aspyr to try and bring Titanfall to Mac.
While this doesn’t mean this is happening for sure, it is a good sign for mac users that have been wanting to get their hands on the game, though even if it does go through it may still take some time. Mac ports historically have never happened that quickly, at the fastest normally taking almost half a year, and at the longest upwards to 2 or even more years after original release. Titanfall has already had a successful launch, and you can look forward to seeing our full review on it soon.
