ASUS Shows Off 2 New Matrix Cards. Asus is always releasing new products and this time they have decided to tempt our palette by showing off 2 new Matrix cards that they are about to unleash. Obviously these cards will be based off the top of line cards from both NVIDIA and AMD and will be based off the GTX 780 Ti and the AMD R9-290X. Although usually we get just a few pictures and a minute amount of information regarding the new products, but this time ASUS has gone for full exposure or the full Monty for this new release.
By now anyone who is a fan of ASUS knows what the Matric like of cards look like as the exterior design has remained the same for all Matrix branded cards, but what we do not know are the exact specs are such as GPU speed, memory clock speed or the real kicker the price. ASUS has released a lot of pictures showing off these new cards in an effort to wet the appetites of would be buyers in the gaming and consumer market, and in truth it will probably work. To a tech nerd or geek a new video card is like a new porno to watch and not be missed.
You can see in the pictures however that ASUS has added a few new things including a very custom PCB that will be geared toward the overclocker. The cooler that comes attached on these new cards features a dual-fan design that incorporates 5-heatpipes and a 14-phase VRM circuit as well as a large aluminum fan array. For those like myself who love a backplate on their video card ASUS once again aims to please by including one on these cards. Power will be provided via the 2 8-pin power connectors and for those who want to go extreme in their overclocking adventures there is also a provided LN2 button. These cards look good, sound great on paper and will most likely be a huge success for ASUS, but for now all we can do is wait impatiently for them to arrive. Until that day thanks for reading Tech Of Tomorrow. Have a great Friday and a safe and exciting weekend folks.
