Minimum Titanfall PC Requirements Revealed, Is Your PC Ready?

Curious if your computer is well equipped enough to run arguably the most anticipated game of 2014? Now you can find out as Respawn Co-Founder Vince Zampella revealed those specs on Twitter this week.

Titanfall needs a minimum of 64-bit Windows 7 but will also run on Windows 8 & 8.1. He also teased at the possibility of an upcoming Mac release but no date or other information was given.

On the CPU side of things if you’re an AMD user you need at least an Athlon X2 2.8GHz and if you’re in Intel gamer you need a minimum of a Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz CPU.

Other minimum specs include at least 4GB RAM, 512MB VRAM and either Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT. The official release date is set for March 11th here in the states and March 14th in Europe. There’s also rumors that the BETA will launch February 14th so keep your eyes peeled for that. Is your computer ready for Titanfall? or do you need an upgrade? I was really excited for this but after seeing actual game play footage it really does just look exactly like cod with giant robots. Amd only 6v6 online matches? Come on this is supposed to be next gen.

Lol, As I said a couple days ago. My HD4850 can still handle almost every game (only not games using Frostbite Engine, I don’t play BF anyways..) on Medium and on my monitor max res (1440×900). Still, stupid AMD stopped making Video Drivers for GPU’s older than Radeon 6000 Series (5000, 4000 etc).

    Same here, it’s the first time I’ve heard Mantles on Titanfall, Having said that I’m not surprised to here such a claim, I’m pretty sure there’s teams of fanboy’s going around spreading misinformation about Mantle, I read posts were people are claiming old games will all be getting mantle patches and other equally ignorant claims, All in an attempt to raise it’s profile and cause people to buy AMD cards in preperation of the day that will never come, It stinks of desperation.

  I mean DICE said it clearly that they focused it on their BF4 game.
  I really doubt that Titanfall will have Mantle… PERHAPS they will support Mantle later just like most games done with PhysX when it came out later.

  AMD cores are weaker than intel cores, which is one of the reasons a i5 4 core can out perform a AMD 8 core. However AMD is still good for budget.

I can guarantee you half these faggots saying they have a 780 dont even have one. I can say I still have my radeon 6870 paired with a i5-3570k at stock speeds and 8gb ram and it can still run any game out there nicely. No point in wasting 600 dollars on gpu when this card that you can get for anywhere around 100 bucks can play any game out there still. Im not planning on upgrading until this one dies out

      You’re extremely wrong. Your eyes can see up to 1000 FPS, however we used to have to use 24 FPS for film reels due to storage issues. I have a 60hz monitor and definitely notice the difference between 50 and 60 fps. By the way, the difference between 60 and 120/144hz monitors is very noticeable. 120 and beyond will look much more fluid in motion. Helps a lot for gaming.
