Petition for GTA V on PC Reaches 650,000 Signatures

While numerous rumors have been abound of a PC launch for GTA V since the games insanely successful console launch, that doesn’t stop gamers from doing everything they can to make it all the more real and as soon as possible.

A petition on Change.org for having the game officially ported to PC has just reached over 650,000 signatures, and has still been steadily growing with 50,000 of those just happening in the past two months.

GTA games have seen PC ports delayed compared to console, but have steadily been released, with the most recent example of GTA IV having a 7 month delay between it’s console and PC versions. GTA has a huge PC following currently going untapped, and it makes nothing but sense for the game to see a 2014 release so the mod community can get their hands on it to really push the game’s content in more unique directions.

GTA V is still yet to have an official announcement for PC from Rockstar, but between company history, fan demands, and numerous rumors and “evidence” surfacing the past half year, hopefully we’ll be hearing some actual news soon.

      Pretty sure Red Dead wasn’t ported over because it would’ve had even more problems than GTA IV did. The Devs said it was a nightmare porting GTA IV over.

        I’m pretty sure they meant porting from the 360 to PS3. Porting to the PC shouldn’t be nearly as hard since all games are developed on a computer then ported to consoles.

          The Devs working with consoles use an API that is directly made to run optimally for the consoles alone. Even if they made it for PC, they would have to recode the engine to get it to run well for PC.

    Regardless of pirates or not, rock star will still see a good share of money coming in.

      Yep, Piracy is a rubbish excuse. They just can’t be bothered to port the game over, simple.

    Hopefully GTA V will also have 3D vision support ^_^ It will be awesome experience! Port it on PC!

    Oh and what’s up with Red dead redemption? I heard it will also be ported to PC?!
