What is a Vertical Gaming Mouse?

For many of us the choice of muse we use is an important decision in our daily PC life so picking one that is comfortable is always a key factor in our purchase.  Most mice however are all fairly the same, especially in the sense of all of them are horizontal, but now there is a new mouse with a totally different design and this is a vertical mouse that is more ergonomic that your standard mouse and can be use for many hours without causing wrist pain or discomfort.

Built sort of like the handle and trigger of a gun you grip the vertical mouse in the same manner and by doing so you eliminate the constant right and left motions that cause motor function problems. Having your hand in a gun like grip actually is much more natural than the normal way we hold the mouse and even though both seem similar there is a big difference in how your body reacts to the motion. After hours of using the vertical mouse in comparison to a normal mouse really did relieve a lot of the pain that comes from moving your wrist back and forth in a sideways motion.

The mouse we took a look at was geared and is selling as a gaming mouse, but I am sure many PC enthusiasts are scoffing at that aspect of the product as compared with many of the so-called gaming mice its feature set is way below the norm. I am not saying that it is not a gaming mouse as in truth any mouse you can game with is technically a gaming mouse, but usually things like macro buttons DPI adjustment and weight control are all missing here. It’s an entirely new product and one that is in its infancy, but given time and the right support I think this type of product has some serious potential.
